S. W. Energy, LLC is a Nebraska limited liability company that was organized on February 24, 2004, for the purpose of constructing and operating a 55 million gallon per year motor fuel grade ethanol.  SWE owns the 100 acres adjacent to the BNSF railroad on which the Plant is to be built.  The site includes two water wells permitted for operation and ready to be completed for production.

The Pilot Plant is a fully contained stand alone facility.

The plant produced approximately 9,000 gallons of ethanol and qualified SWE for the Nebraska production tax incentives.

• Corn and alternative crops of milo and wheat (irrigation region)
• Mainline railroad - BNSF - no short line costs
• Low cost electricity
• Highway - 4 points - West, North, South and East
• Cattle - feeders and dairies
• Zoning approved for 120 million gallon production
• Test wells drilled and permitted for operation
• Engineering and process design support in place ready to build and construct
• Federal and State - Cash and Income Tax Incentives
• 1,000,000 cattle within 70 miles and 3,000,000 within reasonable trucking distance
• 11,500 Labor force in Red Willow County
